ELEMENTARY K-5 CURRICULUM
Our K-5 curriculum focuses on four core subject areas: Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Along with these courses, students participate in art, music, gym, and technology. Carrollton has selected McGraw-Hill’s Wonders as its literacy program. Teachers work with students in areas of understanding text complexity and close reading and offer additional supports for all levels of learners.
Currently, math concepts are taught using Harcourt’s Go Math program. Teachers are engaged in a Math Curriculum Review Process throughout 2020-2021 to select a new Math Curriculum that will align with Ohio’s Math Standards and will provide continuity of concepts and instruction for students in grades K-8.
MIDDLE SCHOOL 6-8 CURRICULUM
